The Bangaluru Files is a short history of how the large temple in Bangaluru south India came into existence. Originally funded and built by a large team of Jayapataka Swamis disciples, it dramatically switched hands in the late 1990s and began promoting the RtVik-Charade. It is currently the shining-star example RtViks are proud to point towards with much pride and achievement. They claim it is an example of what ISKCON could be like if it adopted their RtVik alternative to the authorized Guru-Disciple relationship Srila Prabhupad trained his disciple for 12 year regarding how to conduct initiations. One of the more remarkable things that the temple is known for is the huge Akshaya Patra midday food program that feeds thousands of children daily. But has this Bangaluru temple really established a commendable model for how Vaishnavas should act?

What many do not know is the controversial criminal history behind how this timple got started. Those who proudly glorify it should at least become properly informed about how and why it so quickly changed hands from a bonafide ISKCON temple to the epitome of RtVik-Apostates. If you want to avoid looking foolish, uninformed, or bigoted, you really ought to read this report before the next time you are inclined to publically express your admiration for the Bengaluru Temple on Hare Krishna Hill.
