This Krishna Tract has three folds producing eight large surfaces (3.5″ 4.25″) offering a total of 119 square inches of content. The most popular Christian tracts are 2-3/4 ” X 4-1/4″ and have only four surfaces yielding 46.75 square inches of printed content. Many Christian Tracts only have color on the front and back and some are even more simple than that. Very simple two plate tracts are sold for 0.07 cents for while the four plate folded traces start at 0.12 cents per piece and go up from there.
The Krishna Tract offers 2.5 times more content with full color on every page and they are just 0.13 cents each! At this rate, all devotees can be very generous about sharing Lord Caitanya’s Sankirtan mission with everyone they meet!

Christians are very vigilant about distributing nicely printed “tracts” to inform the public about how much God loves them. You might have received one personally or found one under your windshield inviting you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I have acquired quite a collection of these mini reminders and recently I just got another one.

As I looked my collection of Christian Tracts over, it occurred to me that I have not seen anything quite like it for educating the average working-class-hero about the Science of the soul as presented in the Vedas. Of course we sell millions of Srila Prabhpada’s books, but what about all those who don’t understand why the BBT books are so remarkable? That thought led me to develop a KC Tract that might help nudge people closer to reading the remarkable books written and produced by His Divine Grace.

Some may wonder where the Hare Krishna mantra is. It is found quite clearly printed in devanagari script on the cover in circular aura/halo around Krishnas image. It is also printed in yellow microtext around the image of Charles Darwin, although you can not read it. This was done surreptitiously to avoid provoking any prejudicial attitude some may have about the Hare Krishnas. Also please notice how the last page with the image of Lord Caitanya has a large white blank space with nothing printed there. This was intentional so the tract can be customized with whatever text one wants to provide using a sticker, a rubber stamp, or the help of a laser printer. Using a laser printer to add text looks the best and once the process is set up it is very easy to personalize the tract with the details you wish to include.
