RtViks Hatchet the Elements of Communication
We can understand the difference between mundane and transcendental vision by how Krishna describes himself. He confirms that those with transcendental vision we can see him everywhere.
“For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost, nor is he ever lost to Me.” – Bg 6.30
However, Krishna also points out that if a materialist goes out looking for him, he can never be found because He is NOT part of this cosmic manifestation!
“And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.” – Bg 9.5
None of this deters the RtViks from promoting their idea that regardless of how conditioned one might be, anyone can have the same crystal-clear, meaningful exchange his disciples had with Srila Prabhupada, prior to November 14, 1977, after he transitioned from his phenomena form to his eternal transcendental deha. The absurdity of that delusion becomes evident when we consider the plight of Lord Caitanya who was completely surrendered to Lord Krishna:
“I know no one but Krsna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me roughly in His embrace or makes me brokenhearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipable Lord unconditionally.” -Siksastaka 8
Yet despite his impeccable devotion, nominal association was not enough for Lord Caitanya who wept violently feeling such intense separation from Krishna’s personal association.
“O Govinda! Because of separation from You, I consider even a moment a great millennium. Tears flow from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I see the entire world as void.” -Siksastaka Prayer #7.
“In this way, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu lamented in the mood of separation, “Alas, alas! O Krsna, where have You gone?” -Antya 19.53
Like Lord Caitanya, nearly everyone cried when Srila Prabhupada departed because his rich vapu pastime filled with endless meaning and inspiration had ended. Nearly all RtViks had no access to those pastimes so it is both insulting and dishonest for them to continue promoting the loss of vapu as insignificant. Anyone who has ever met a prominent pubic figure remembers those moments vividly because it is more profound than just following stories about them in the news. Srila Prabhupada shares how profound his own experience was on the few occasions he had the rare opportunity to associate with his spiritual master.
“So anyway, from 1922 to 1933 practically I was not initiated, but I got the impression of preaching Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s cult. That I was thinking. And that was the initiation by my Guru Maharaja. Then officially I was initiated in 1933 because in 1923 I left Calcutta. I started my business at Allahabad. So I was always thinking of my Guru Maharaja, that “I met a very nice sadhu.” Although I was doing business, I never forgot him.” Srila Prabhupada Describes Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Disappearance Day Lecture – December 10, 1976, Hyderabad
Keeping Srila Prabhupada very much alive with all his facilities is essential for the RtVik-Ruse to work. But no sane man can deny that when the vapu ends, Vani gets turned off:
“Body minus consciousness is dead body . Everyone knows it. A child can understand, that I am speaking, you are hearing, because your consciousness is present, my consciousness is present. As soon as my consciousness is deducted from this body, then this same mouth will not speak, the same hand will not move, the same ear will not hear. The whole thing will be stopped. So it is a very commonsense affair, that consciousness, that is the main thing in this body. So any intelligent man with common sense can understand it. -Bhagavad-Gita 2.44–45 – March 25, 1966, New York
The tragic end of new vani is something everyone should be crying about. Although Srila Prabhupada made many comments regarding the numinal presence of his beloved spiritual master guiding him at every step… he too was stricken with grief when his guru’s vani came to an end:
“First Vaisistya 1. On that day, in pain of separation., oh Lord, I was grief-stricken, Unable to tolerate being apart from my spiritual master.” -Vaisistyastakam (Vyasa-puja offering to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Prabhupada 1961) by Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
RtViks callously disregard these different aspects of the various manifestations so they can hope to pound their square peg into where they need it to go. One of the ways they whittle down their peg to get it to fit is to mindlessly boast about how their relationship with Srila Prabhupada remains unchanged.
“Because of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s transcendental position, there is no separation in time or space between us. He is present in our lives and is guiding us back to Godhead through his written and spoken word. http://www.prabhupadanugas.eu/
This type of mountainous vanity should be of great concern to anyone who slips into the death grip of the RtVik-Offensive. Lord Chaitanya cried in separation, Srila Prabhupad was grief-stricken but RtViks proudly announce how they experience NO separation!? Perhaps that is why they are so easily convinced to adopt the RtVik-Charade and be so recklessly indifferent to their gross Vaishnava Aparadha!
The offender may once again try to rationalize his misbehavior by saying, “According to the scriptures (SB 11.11.29) only those who are compassionate, peaceful, and tolerant are called sadhus, or saintly persons. Therefore, the offence of blaspheming a devotee is appropriate only when someone who possesses these characteristics is criticized, not for one who has not developed these qualities. In reply, the scriptures state that even if reprobates, cheaters, hypocrites, pretenders, outcastes, and worse take up devotional service, needless to say they are still considered to be sadhus. They must not be criticized for their past, however terrible it may have been, and they cannot be barred from being accepted as Vaisnava devotees. nor can their devotion be deprecated. – Madhurya-Kadambani – Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, Third shower of nectar, Blaspheming a Saintly Person Is Deadly
Besides all of these philosophical clarifications about how deadly the RtVik-Charade is, there is also a pragmatic argument. Behavioral scientists all agree that only a portion of how we communicate is expressed verbally. They all acknowledge that much of what we share is NON-Verbal. Many devotees who read Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad Gita As It IS appreciated it very much but they were profoundly affected when they came into the presence of HDG. They may have been reluctant to become a devotee prior to that experience, but simply by his glance or his smile they immediately understood what their life mission was and surrendered! It is that powerful Nonverbal communication that the RtViks heartlessly toss out as meaningless and irrelevant! This is just further evidence of a very wounded heart that petrified into a cold stone-like lump.
